Owerri — Rt. Hon. Chinedu Offor (KSM), former Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly and Member who represented Onuimo State Constituency , has extended a birthday tribute to Governor Hope Uzodimma while highlighting his own legislative milestones.
During his tenure as Speaker, Offor dissolved the controversial “Rochas” local‑government arrangement and spearheaded landmark legislation that Established Public‑Asset and Land‑Recovery Committees under the Emeka Ihedioha Administration. Those Committees, he says, laid the groundwork that enabled the current administration’s achievements.
Offor also praised the recent Imo Economic Summit and the siting of the Federal University in Umuna, Onuimo, describing them as “giant strides in infrastructure and education that reflect our shared vision for Imo.”
The former Speaker, who remains active in community development has always been relevant in the Development and Political Circle in Imo State
