Former Speaker urges Imo indigenes to register in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise.

Rt.Hon.Chinedu Offor, a former Speaker of the Imo state house of Assembly has urged Imo indigenes to register in the ongoing voters’ registration exercise.

Offor said in statement today that the continuous voters’ registration exercise is an opportunity for people who have attained registration age to get registered.

He urged Imo indigenes not to miss the opportunity because it is key to voting candidates of their choice.

” I appeal to Ndi Imo to use the opportunity of the continuos voters’ registration exercise to register as eligible voters.

” The 2027 general election is less than a year. If you register , it gives you the right to fulfill your franchise, to vote for your preferred candidates, he said.

Offor, a chieftain of the APC in Imo state, said he is optimistic that Imo indigenes will make good use of the exercise.
